My husband is a construction superintendent. For years, I watched him come home exhausted — boots still on, phone in hand — writing his daily report at 8pm because there was no better way to do it. He'd piece together notes, dig through his camera roll for the right photos, and type it all up from scratch. Every single day.
That's not a software problem. That's a people problem. And it deserved a real solution.
So I built one.
What SuperReports is.
SuperReports is a daily reporting tool built around the construction superintendent — the person on the ground who needs to document their day and get home to their family. When supers report well, everyone wins: the super is protected, and the GC has the visibility and documentation they need.
You walk the site. You talk. SuperReports handles the rest.
What we believe.
- Daily reports matter more than most supers realize. A thin log written at 8pm from memory doesn't protect you when a dispute happens six months later. A detailed, timestamped, photo-backed report does.
- Superintendents deserve better tools. The construction industry has plenty of software built for owners and PMs. The people actually running the jobsite are an afterthought. We're fixing that.
- Simple beats powerful. Every feature we add has to pass one test: would a super use this at the end of a 10-hour day, on their phone, in a parking lot? If not, it doesn't ship.

SuperReports is built by Sunstate Bay Ventures, LLC, based in Florida. We're a small team building focused tools for the trades.
SuperReports is our daily reporting product. Sunstate Trades is our broader platform for GC organizations who want their supers' reports to roll up org-wide, alongside bid tools and a subcontractor directory.
